HOMESCHOOL PLAY

In this dynamic class, students will learn the basics of acting and filmmaking through a one-act play and a short film project. The course covers skills such as script analysis, character development, voice modulation, and body language, as students rehearse and perform a play.
Additionally, the instructor will facilitate project-based learning, guiding students as they write, direct, shoot, and edit their own short films or music videos.
Emphasizing collaboration and creativity, students will work in teams to bring their cinematic visions to life. By the end of the course, students will have experience in both stage and screen, culminating in a showcase of their projects.
Here is a better way to say that sentence. I was trying to make it shorter, but you are right it seems confusing.

This is a class that teaches young actors essential skills for both stage and on-camera screen acting through foundational core exercises.
Students will engage in monologues, play scenes, script analysis, imagination exercises, improv, commercials, and television and film sides, overcoming stage jitters, character development and more.
Students will showcase their talents in a final performance on stage performing a monologue, commercial, and a scene.
BEGINNING IMPROV

An introduction to the skills needed for all types of theater, this class will focus on imagination and the ability to generate new ideas spontaneously. Using the vehicle of Improv, students will be able to build and strengthen their acting, participation, and active listening skills through the art of "thinking on your feet". A must for all actors!

In this class, we will learn different styles of directing and forms of theater. We’ll go over the basics of how to run and manage a rehearsal room and how to organize a production that everyone involved in can be proud of. We’ll also go over how to create a concept for anything from classics to musicals to experimental works.

Musical theater dance is a theatrical dance style that includes dancing and acting to songs from musicals. In this class students will learn the basics of acting and character development while dancing. They will learn to use movement to tell a story.
Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap.
The class emphasis is on developing proper technique, producing clear tap sounds and having fun.
Dress Code
Our general dress code policy for all classes is CLOSED TOED TENNIS SHOES, and loose fitting, non-restrictive clothing that promotes movement, but is not revealing. A more specific dress code may be communicated by instructors during your first weeks of class. Tap shoes are required for tap classes.
